Our checklist

General Site inspection

  • General inspection of site for visual damage and/or safety concerns

  • Visual inspection of generator & ATS

  • Removal of any weeds/debris from outside of the Generator ensuring proper air flow

  • Removal of foreign debris, vacuum inside of Generator

Engine starting system

  • Visual battery inspection

  • Clean/tighten battery terminals as needed

  • inspection of battery charger/verify operation

Lube oil system

  • Check oil level

  • look over system for leaks

  • tighten clamps if necessary

Automatic Transfer Switch

  • Removal of any weeds/debris around exterior of switch

  • Clean/vacuum interior of cabinet

  • check all electrical connections for tightness

  • verify transfer switch controller settings are set properly

  • Thermal imaging to verify no overheating

Engine electrical system

  • Visually inspect wiring harness

  • check the system for fault codes

  • tighten connections when applicable

  • verify operation of oil/battery heater if applicable

Generator End

  • Verify proper voltage & frequency output

  • verify clean slip rings

  • check brushes for abnormal wear

  • inspect the voltage regulator

  • inspect insulation on generator leads

  • tighten connections as necessary
